Hashtag Saturday Morning

Goodmorning initiates!
Yes I'm watching Divergent this morning. I finally got the DVD and I'm so, so, SO excited to see the special features! That's my favourite part about the dvd's for these films, all the extra material. I always just wish there was MORE, lol.
I ordered these movies online during the week. Working on my DVD collection.
Yesterday I was hanging out with bestie Solle. We went for an ICA Maxi round (Ica Maxi is the grocery store) like we used to back in the days and during our walk in the shop we realized we are so much more grown up now compared to 2010 when we started this routine... Anyways we ended up buying like 5 movies each (I LOVE the movie specials at the grocery stores) and nice food and then we went back to my place for some tacos and movie night.
Today I was so tired I could barely get out of bed. So I'm letting myself watch movies this morning and then I'll try to get out for a walk or get some studying done in the afternoon I think.
What are you doing today my friends?

Movie of the Day

At the pace I'm watching movies at the moment I'll need to do a "movie of the day" segment instead of "movie of the week" lol.
This morning I got around to watching Escobar: Paradise lost.
I obviously found out about this film through my Josh Hutcherson (plays Peeta in the Hunger Games for those of you who don't know who he is) obsession and do you know what? This is what I love about getting obsessed with specific actors. Whenever I have a new favourite actor I watch all their movies and I learn so much more about what films are out there.
This film is about Nick, a Canadian surfer who goes to Colombia with his brother to start a surf business. He meets and quickly falls for Maria, the beautiful niece of drug lord Pablo Escobar. Over the years Nick gets closer to Pablo and gets dragged in to his business which leads to him getting in trouble.
I mean I can't say anything about the truth to the story or Escobar's character because I simply don't know anything about it. Apparently the idea came from a story heard about a real-life boy who did end up in a similar situation with Escobar.
What I can say is that the film is really good. Benicio del Toro is amazing as Escobar and even though I am biased Josh Hutcherson is incredible as Nick. I think it is definitely his best performance so far (no matter how much I love the Hunger Games series) and it shows how versatile he is as an actor. The film is dramatic and feels real, it's one of those when you don't think it can get any worse, it does.
To summarize I'd say it's definitely worth seeing if you're looking for a drama/action/thriller. (Can we btw just take a moment to be proud of little me who's come so far I can actually watch "scary" movies i.e, action/thrillers.. I mean who would have thought?!?!?)
Has anyone seen this film? What did you think?

Haaay you guys!
I know it's been long but I haven't been inspired to write as of late.
I'll try to get better though, I know all of you three people who keep checking here even when I don't update probably are hoping to find out that I'm doing something super interesting right...?!
So, what have I been up to?
Not much to be honest. Well my wonderful friend Lina visited me last week so we had a blast but other than that I've mostly just been watching movies and reading the Hunger Games. Had a sleepover with my brothers which was fun as always. And then this week my courses started so I'm back to studying now. As you can see I'm taking a break at this very moment. Yayy me!!
After two long days of studying I can say that it's fun to be doing something productive and my courses are really interesting so I honestly just can't wait for the rest of the semester!
What have you guys been up to lately? I mean besides the obvious sitting around crying and missing me of course...?!
I'll try to update more regularly again!
XOXO, you know you love me!
